No. SubDuo is a lightweight Chrome extension that intercepts the existing subtitle track. The translation happens in under 200ms on average, so you won't notice any delay.

We only process the subtitle text needed for translation: never audio, video, or personal data. Subtitle text is sent to our API solely for translation and is never stored or linked to your identity.
